National Security Advisor Ajit Doval
On 20 January 1945, Ajit Doval was born in Ghiri Banelsyun of Uttarakhand to Major Gunanand Doval. He is the 5th and current National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister Of India.The lad studied at Ajmer Military School, which was formerly known as King George’s Royal Indian Military School of Rajasthan. He achieved a master’s degree from Agra University in 1967. The intelligent lad for the civil services exam and then completed it successfully in his first attempt. Then, the clever guy was appointed as the ASP (Assistant Superintendent of Police) at Kollam district in Kerala.
After joining the services in 1968, Ajit Doval participated in several anti-insurgency operations held in Mizoram, Kerala and Punjab. In 1972, the Thalassery Riot had caused a massive loss to the people of the city, but then the police officer and his team recovered all the loot. After the incident, the brave man was appointed as SI (Sub Inspector) in the town police station of Kannur district. His motivational story inspired the people working with him to reduce crime in the city. The inspector caught several criminals and also carried out various plans to make the area violence-free. In the short working period of six years, Ajit Doval was awarded the President’s Police Medal and became the youngest IPS officer to achieve the appreciation. In 1988, he became the first police officer to receive Kirti Chakra before it was only given as Military honour.
Ajit Doval participated in operation black thunder II in 1988 when Khalistan militants were inside the Golden Temple in Amritsar. The secret agent entered the complex as a rickshaw puller to know the moments of the hijackers in the pilgrimage and delivered the information to other soldiers. The wise man even made the terrorists believe that he was an ISI operative and had come to help them in fighting against the government. Thus, the brave guy was able to understand their plan, and subsequently, the operation was successfully executed with lesser casualties. The real-life motivational stories of the brave man include the intelligence used by him while stopping all the 15 aeroplane hijacks from 1971 to 1999. He was among three negotiators during the hijack of IC-814 in Kandahar in the year 1999. The intellectual headed the operation wing of IB for more than ten years. Moreover, the clever officer was the founder chairman of Multi-Agency Center(MAC) and Joint Task Force on Intelligence (JTFI).
Ajit Doval stayed in Pakistan as an undercover for around seven years as a Muslim citizen, and because of his accuracy, no one could recognise him. After numerous years, a person with a long beard doubted Ajit Doval and enquired if he was Hindu. Even after trying hard, the spy could not convince the stranger, and later, he came to know that the unfamiliar elderly was also a Hindu who was living as a Muslim follower in the country. Subsequently, the intelligent officer continued his operation by working at the commission of Pakistan.
Ajit Doval was promoted to Director of the Intelligence bureau in the year 2004. But soon, in January 2005, he retired from his post to spend his valuable time with the family. Later, in December 2009, the clever guy became the administrator of the Vivekananda International Foundation, which Vivekananda Kendra started. From 2009 to 2011, the wise man co-wrote two reports on ‘Indian Black Money Abroad in Secret Banks and Tax Havens’ with other experienced people for the BJP government by being part of their task force. He wrote several articles for various newspapers and journals. Moreover, the wise guy gave speeches regarding India’s security challenges and foreign policy objectives at many institutions in India and overseas.
Due to his true motivational stories of patriotism and cleverness, after the victory of BJP on 24 May 2014, he became the 5th National Security Advisor. Later in June 2014, Ajit Doval took charge of rescuing 46 nurses, and for that, he went on a secret mission. He made all the arrangements and brought the nurses back to their homes in Kerala. The wise man took up several assignments and generated relevant solutions for them. The mastermind had an essential role in planning and executing the surgical strike in POK (Pakistan Occupied Kashmir) on 29 September 2016, which was an answer to the terrorist who attacked the military camp of URI. During the second term of Narendra Modi as a Prime Minister, the brave man was given Cabinet rank and became the national security advisor for the second time.
