Srikanth Bolla was born on 7 July 1992 in Seetharamapuram village in Machilipatnam city, which is located in Andhra Pradesh. Unfortunately, the infant was visually impaired from birth due to a genetic disorder. His parents Damodar Rao and Venkatamma relied on farming for their daily wages. Even after facing poverty, they yet never neglected the basic needs of the special child. The boy had to face several issues in life due to the disability. Even after completing primary schooling, the student was prevented from pursuing science in 12th. The child had to file a case and wait for six months until the lad was allowed to chase the stream and later scored 98% in the board exam. The teenager was rejected from taking admission to the Indian Institute of Technology, in which he desired to gain an engineering degree. Later, he became the first international blind student by attending the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Subsequently, Srikanth Bolla was provided corporate opportunities in America, but the boy desired to return to India and help physically challenged. The lad was a youth leader of Lead India 2020: The Second National Youth Movement in 2005, which was started by former President of India Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.

Later, Srikanth Bolla co-founded Samanvai Center for Children with Multiple Disabilities in 2011 to create several motivational stories. Consequently, he started a Braille printing press to provide educational, vocational, financial and rehabilitation services. In 2012, the intellectual started Bollant Industries that manufactures products that are based on Areca and employs differently-abled people with funds received from Ratna Tata in Nacharam, Hyderabad, Telangana. The company operates mainly in three different states of India, which are Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana. The firm has employed at least 450 people. The firm manufactures eco-friendly recycled Kraft paper from municipal waste or soiled paper. The company also does the packaging of products from recycled paper and disposable products from natural leaves. They recycle paper and recycle waste plastic into usable products. The Bollant has achieved a turnover of Rs 150 crore in 2018.

In September 2016, Srikanth Bolla was appointed as the director of Surge Impact Foundation. The organization aims to help individuals in India in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. After this, he became one of the top 10 entrepreneurs in india.

Srikanth Bolla has won the Distinguished Youth Service AwardThe intellectual stood at 2nd Place in the 93rd India Science Congress. The individual was given the Entrepreneur of the Year title in 2015 at the NDTV Indian of the year award and the Youth Excellence Award by the Telugu Fine Arts Society of New Jersey. The lad was selected as an emerging Leadership Award by ECLIF Malaysia and Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year by CII in 2016. In April 2017, Srikanth Bolla was listed among 30 under 30 by Forbes across all of Asia. He was the emerging Winner in SME at the Pride of Telangana Awards in 2018. Then, the adult became the winner of the Business Line Young Change Maker Award 2018. In 2019, the youngster was listed as Entrepreneur of the Year by One Young World. Then, the tycoon was elected as Young Global Leaders 2021. The youth has always dreamed of becoming the first blind president of India. Srikanth Bolla became one of the most successful entrepreneur in India with his will-power and hard work.

The boy teaches an essential lesson of fighting for one’s right and to succeed in life. He struggled throughout the journey but never stepped back from fulfilling the desire. Srikanth Bolla was not satisfied after his victory and thus, decided to make people like him lead a prosperous life. We many times leave our hopes after a disappointment, but Srikanth Bolla always fought for his dreams and achieved the goal. He is an inspiration for several individuals who want to accomplish their wishes beyond all physical disabilities and are looking for a path to be independent. The Entrepreneur is also motivating the youth of the country to protect the planet, use eco-friendly products and provide more employment.
